  Just be warned, there is no Starbucks here. But, if you appreciate supporting local baristas, there is a nice little cafe in the middle of the lot that serves a number of liquid confections.

  Mill Bay Shopping Centre is a very cute shopping area that is clearly the hub of shopping for the Mill Bay area. I particularly loved seeing the quaint "Library" sign and entrance below a steeple.

  A classy bunch of shops & professional services (even a radiology clinic), with Pharmasave on one end & Thrifty supermarket on the other. Think California meets England. Since Whiskey Point Grill shut down, the only food is Subway & Mill Bay Pizza...

  It's got the basics. Not much open the last time I was through though. Couldn't find a hot meal, other than fast food. But it's a decent little shopping center. Best one between Victoria and Duncan anyway.

  This is a fabulous and well designed strip mall. They have an excellent mix of eateries, services, dry goods and groceries. There are two liquor stores which is overkill but the rest is great. Lots of open lot parking and they have a bus stop with a designed wood covering. There are small areas on the lot for children to play including the playground I photographed. There is a library here and they offer a kids program.

  Beauty of a little plaza mall. Thrifty's is awesome and small but good selection liquor store. Nice place.
